Sales Development Co-ordinator Role
As a sales development coordinator, you will be responsible for achieving individual sales targets by leading and coordinating commercial and agricultural sales activities. This role requires superior customer service within the office environment.
You will work closely with the branch manager to achieve results-oriented goals, including prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling opportunities. Key responsibilities will include managing daily office administration, ensuring tasks are clearly understood, and implementing them through regular meetings and direction.
Customer queries will be dealt with promptly, and unresolved or technical issues referred to relevant personnel. It is essential to comply with all systems and procedures laid down by the company, working flexibly within the sales office and participating in various office tasks.
Comprehensive knowledge of the company's product range and compliance requirements must be maintained and updated regularly. Industry qualifications will be completed as necessary, and mutually beneficial working relationships developed with local FBD Life Financial Planning Advisers to enhance overall group service delivery.
Initiatives for account management of commercial and agricultural businesses will be participated in, and customers assisted at the initial notification of claims stage in line with company procedures. Outstanding debit and premium collections will be taken responsibility for, and dedicated support provided to the branch manager and sales executive.
Motivation, encouragement, leadership, and development assistance will be provided to the sales office team, with performance monitoring and measurement also undertaken. Regular feedback and coaching will be given as required, acting as office contact and support for sales staff, head office, branch manager, sales executive, and regional sales manager. Personal lines business and commercial/agricultural business will be administered as required.
