Job Type Permanent Full-Time Location Dublin City, County Dublin, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Compliance Operations Manager Location: Dublin or Kilkenny (hybrid) Vhi Group Services DAC currently has a full-time permanent role for the position of Compliance Operations Manager based in either our Abbey st or Kilkenny office on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate be responsible for co-ordination, management and optimisation of Group Compliance operations. The role-holder will be responsible for managing a team of Compliance Specialists, ensuring their effective allocation across various compliance activities led by other Compliance Managers within the Compliance Function. Manage and develop a team of Compliance Specialists, ensuring capability, engagement, and strong delivery standards. Collaborate with Compliance Managers on strategic planning and prioritisation of the annual compliance programme. Oversee core compliance operations, including reporting, risk and controls governance, policy management, data privacy coordination, training, and maintenance of regulatory registers. Manage the internal control environment, including regulatory correspondence, compliance/audit action tracking, and statutory compliance statements and returns. Design, maintain and enhance compliance workflows, toolkits, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and consistency. Develop and maintain a central compliance knowledge base, enabling consistent regulatory interpretation and informed decision-making across the organisation. Contribute as a member of the Compliance Management Team, supporting strategic and operational initiatives and providing ongoing support to the Group Compliance Function. What will you need to be successful Education & Experience Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in compliance or a related field, including at least 5 years in a management role. Professional qualification such as ACOI (or equivalent) preferred. Experience developing, maintaining, and reviewing policies and procedures for a healthcare compliance programme. Experience with technology solutions that enhance compliance operations, reporting, and MI. Healthcare industry compliance experience advantageous. Interpersonal skills Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated leadership capability and positive, motivating leadership style. Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. High level of organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
