Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decisions. You will work closely with finance, operations, and management teams to maintain accurate financial reporting and optimise financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
* Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts
* Ensure compliance with Irish tax regulations and accounting standards
* Support budgeting, auditing, and financial planning activities
* Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Irish tax regulations
* Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
* Advanced Excel and reporting skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
* Professional working proficiency in
English
Nice to Have
* Accounting certifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
* Experience in finance or multinational organisations
* Knowledge of ERP systems
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or auditing
