Job Title: Soft Services Manager
A highly skilled and experienced professional is required to lead a team responsible for delivering exceptional building operations and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in facilities management, with expertise in staff supervision, performance evaluations, recruiting, and facility repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
* Staff Management: Oversee recruiting and hiring new employees, schedule and manage the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
* Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach staff members as needed, and coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance.
* Client Relations: Manage positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
* Project Management: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
* Quality Assurance: Perform facility inspections to ensure quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations.
* Sustainability: Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities, and manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, with a combination of education and experience considered in lieu of a degree.
* A valid driver's license is required, and Facility Management certification is preferred.
* Leadership skills to motivate the team, extensive organizational skills, and advanced math skills are essential.
