This position will be responsible for supporting product manufacture, including but not limited to line support, implementing process improvements, equipment/ material control and line optimization.Role and responsibilities:• Lead manufacturing projects that develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes.• Support routine manufacturing activities to facilitate efficient operations and support the operations team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.• Collaborate with the entire operations and QA teams in resolving product/process/equipment problems.• Partner with R&D and Quality to design and optimise manufacturing processes, procedures, and production flow for internal process activities.• Manage equipment selection, installation and maintenance and ensure equipment is performing to specification.• Monitor performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters as required.• Execute process validations to meet QMS requirements, including IQ, OQ & PQ process validation activities.• Deploy the principles of SPC, KPI analysis, lean and six sigma in solving problems, root causing issues, and identifying/implementing the optimum areas for improvement in manufacturing operations.Experience:• Engineering level 8 degree, or equivalent qualification.• Proven track record in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years in medical devices industry.• Knowledge of quality management systems and process controls.• Good communicator (verbal and written) who can liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders and influence decision-makers.• Assured self-starter with proven technical ability.
