You will report to the Engineering Team Manager.

Enterprise Product builds critical full-stack solutions that power our B2 B Enterprise clients and empower our community of Pro users.
In 2026, we're expanding our impact by aligning with the Websites objective to modernize legacy page types and integrate new features like the Acuity Scheduling websites experience.
You'll Get To…
Build scalable backend services in Java and related technologies.
Write clean, efficient code that powers high-traffic, production-ready systems.
Contribute to design decisions and architectural discussions.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
Create features from concept through implementation to launch.
Who We're Looking For
7+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java, Python, C, or similar languages.
Experience building large-scale, distributed systems.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Comfortable working in collaborative environments where feedback is valued.
A degree in Computer Science — or equivalent industry experience that speaks for itself.

Cash Compensation Range
USD $128,500 - $231,500.
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
