Heavy Goods Vehicle Operative Role
This position entails safely and efficiently driving Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to deliver products to various customer locations across the region.
* Negotiate with logistics personnel and site managers for smooth delivery operations.
* Ensure timely and safe completion of deliveries, prioritizing efficiency in transportation management.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Liaison skills for effective communication with stakeholders.
Judgment is required when deciding which route will cause minimal disruption. This includes but isn't limited to determining traffic patterns during peak hours, finding alternative routes etc., ensuring appropriate safety measures are always taken into consideration at all times during operational duties.
