Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Travel Co-ordinator on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an effective business travel function, ensuring travel is booked efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with company travel and expense policies.
This role requires strong experience within the corporate travel industry and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Principal Accountabilities Provide an end-to-end business travel service for employees, ensuring all business trips are booked and organised in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure employee safety considerations are embedded into all travel arrangements while maintaining strict adherence to the organisations Travel Policy.
Drive compliance with all policies under the remit of the team, including Business Travel and Expense policies.
Ensure value for money across all travel arrangements while balancing employee experience and safety.
Act as a key point of contact for business travel-related queries and escalations.
Experience Required Significant, relevant industry experience within a Travel Management Company (TMC) or similar travel service provider.
Proven experience working in a reservations or corporate travel role supporting a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
Demonstrated experience supporting senior stakeholders, including C-suite and executive-level clients.
Mandatory Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of a range of travel and expense management systems, profile management systems, and Online Booking Tools (OBTs), including but not limited to: Concur, Roomex, Umbrella, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Solid understanding of the corporate travel industry, including TMC operations and airline, hotel, and car rental contracted rates.
Interpersonal & Behavioural Skills Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of confidentiality, judgement, integrity, and professionalism.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
Highly organised, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with employees at all levels, including senior management.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a busy team.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, with the confidence to seek guidance when required and support colleagues where needed.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
