Position Summary
The Plastic Fabricator plays a key role within the fabrication team. This position is responsible for performing fabrication tasks and with plastic materials and components. The role involves hands-on work such as routing, deburring, cutting work within a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and finish plastic components according to technical drawings and specifications
* Operate hand tools, routers, and workshop machinery with accuracy and safety
* Measure, cut, bend, and shape plastic materials to required standards
* Assist with the production of bespoke and repeat-order items
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet quality and project deadlines
* Troubleshoot fabrication issues and ensure all work meets company quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong practical knowledge in the use of hand tools and routers (essential)
* Previous experience in plastic fabrication, joinery, or cabinet making is a strong advantage
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with precision
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
