Job Description:
A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Process/Automation Engineer to join our Advanced Operations team at Stryker Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop manufacturing approaches and concepts for next-generation surgical instruments that will push the boundaries of patient care
* Collaborate with design engineers, subject matter experts, and manufacturing stakeholders to drive innovation and growth
* Investigate ways to manufacture and assemble electronics into powered instrumentation within a complex ecosystem of supporting systems
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (Level 8) or related engineering discipline
* 4+ years' experience in Electronics Design for Manufacture/Assembly and process validation
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Innovative thinker with good instincts and sound judgment for mechanical and structural design
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel to the US with 6-8 weeks' notice, up to 20% travel associated with this role
