Role Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Talent & Business Partnering.
This is a key role within the CarTrawler People Team, contributing to the overall development and execution of the talent strategy for CarTrawler.
The Senior Manager plays a key role in the design and execution of our talent strategy to build a thriving, high-performing organisation.
This role is central to creating a talent strategy that aligns with business goals and is embedded across the people processes, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.
This role is essential in one of the critical levers of organisational success:Enterprise Talent Management (including Succession, Performance & Org Effectiveness, Leadership Development & DEIB).
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Talent ManagementSupport the Director in the design of enterprise-wide talent frameworks for:Talent Assessment & Succession Planning: Ensuring visibility of future leaders and critical rolesOrganisational Effectiveness: Input to structural reviews, workforce planning, capability alignment and team effectivenessDEIB Strategy: Lead the execution of an inclusion strategy that supports belonging, fairness, and B Corp certificationProvide guidance on best practice for employee engagement and performance management and inputting to support materials as requiredDevelop necessary workforce analytics to inform talent approach and measure impact, ensuring practices support business Develop a view on external best practice & emerging practice through research, networking, etc to inform our approach.Support capability building for leaders and People function around talent, sharing knowledge, insights and coaching as required.Leadership DevelopmentLearning & Development: Inputting to the L&D strategy, with a focus on targeted capability buildingLeadership Development: Designing pathways for emerging, front line, and executive leaders to thriveCollaborationWork with the People Partners to understand & anticipate business needs and generate insights for translation into talent interventions.
Up-skill / deepen capability within the People team on talent frameworks, ensuring readiness for high-quality executionCollaborate with the Talent Acquisition function to ensure hiring practices are aligned to our talent strategyCollaborate closely with peers across Reward, People Experience and HR Transformation to ensure joined-up delivery of the people strategy
Experience Required:
Experienced Talent practitioner with proven experience in designing, selecting and implementing strategic Talent Management interventions (e.g.
career paths, talent assessment, psychometric assessments, leadership development programmes) across a complex, growing organisationStrategic thinker, able to identify opportunities to create a cohesive, agile approach to talentExpertise across talent life cycle: succession, performance, leadership, development and DEIBStrategic acumen with the ability to interact and influence leaders and translate people strategy into measurable actionIdeally qualified in psychometric tooling and/or coachingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple competing, strategic prioritiesPassionate about driving inclusive, purpose-driven talent outcomes at scale
