Health & Safety Officer About Your New Employer My client is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing industry, operating across Ireland and the UK.Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.The business delivers highly specialised manufacturing and engineering solutions, with the majority of its work supporting critical public-sector operations.Due to continued growth, my client is seeking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Officer to enhance health, safety, and regulatory compliance across its manufacturing operations.About Your New Job as a Health & Safety Officer Manage and coordinate site Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company procedures.Develop, review, and support Work Method Statements (WMS) and Risk Assessments to maintain high Health & Safety standards.Promote a positive culture through Toolbox Talks, employee engagement, and ongoing communication.Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.Deliver EHS training and inductions, while compiling safety data, reports, and maintaining accurate Health & Safety records.What Skills You Need as a Health & Safety Officer Relevant third-level Qualification in Health & Safety.A minimum of 3 years proven experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.Additional Instructors training courses, e.g., Manual Handling / Abrasive Wheels would be an advantage.Whats on Offer Opportunity to work in a dynamic and busy manufacturing environment.Career development and training opportunities.
