Customer Insight Manager
Location: Dublin/Greater Dublin area, hybrid with regular travel to client office Dublin (around 1-2 days per week)
Full Time, Permanent
Salary: €60-66k pa + 10% bonus plus lots of other great benefits
Our Thumbprint team are on the lookout for an additional Customer Insight Manager to join their team from January 2026.
Thumbprint's products help to deliver what's most important for brands to sell more – they identify the opportunities to act on today and influence the strategy that'll unlock your growth potential in grocery multiple and symbol & independent convenience retail stores.
Our two main products are Dart and Pinpoint.
As Customer Insight Manager you will work closely with a variety of our client teams based in Ireland including Unilever.
The main objectives of this role include but not limited to:
* Being responsible for creating actionable insights for key client and customers sales and supply teams by owning the end-to-end insight generation process, from establishing needs, to final delivery
* Leveraging EPOS and execution analytics to identify and unlock opportunities for sales growth, enabling influence both internally with your client and at customer head offices
* Accountable for engagement and training for sales and supply chain teams on how to get the most value from the analytics, fostering strong working relationships across cross functioning teams
* Develop strong internal networks that support client and customer value propositions, being the champion of both the analytics and the value of the insights being delivered
* Forging a strong external presence and gravitas, being a respected and trusted source to your client and their customers
* Play an integral role within the internal Client Leadership team, including the development, execution, and governance of an Annual Insights Plan
In this role, you must be capable of, and able to demonstrate experience of: Relationship Management, Client Management, Communication across multiple levels of stakeholders, Insight generation and delivery, and Education/training delivery
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Worked in the FMCG sector before, ideally with an FMCG brand, with a working knowledge of the Grocery and Convenience sectors
* Worked in Insights or Category Development roles, being able to understand the need, analysing data, generating insight and delivering those insights and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders
* Assembled and analysed large quantities of data, and exposure and experience of operating with EPOS sales and/or supply chain data is preferable (e.g. Retailer Owned Data, Neilsen, Circana, SKUTrak, etc)
