Biocel Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Administrative Assistant to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, aligned with FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 standards.

Role Overview:
This position involves providing administrative support for food safety, health and safety initiatives, customer communications, and quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain documentation related to the Quality Management System according to FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 standards.
2. Act as a liaison on safety matters, review health and safety strategies, and assist in developing internal policies.
3. Communicate with customers and respond to queries.
4. Maintain specifications and safety data sheet manuals.
5. Support the Quality Co-Ordinator during external audits.
6. Update and maintain food safety manuals and standard operating procedures.
7. Keep production and quality records compliant with food safety standards and legislation.
8. Liaise with suppliers and oversee the raw material approval process.
9. Monitor food safety compliance and report to the QA Co-Ordinator.
10. Assist in developing and maintaining training programs on food safety, hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring documentation compliance.
11. Prepare for and assist during supplier and customer audits, including external audits by regulatory bodies.
12. Promote team understanding and implementation of food safety, integrity, and quality practices.
13. Support resolution of customer complaints related to the QMS.
14. Oversee calibration and maintenance programs for quality assurance.
15. Conduct administrative tasks related to risk assessments.
16. Keep management informed of issues and support quality and compliance objectives.
17. Contribute to corporate food safety and quality programs, maintaining documentation and providing ongoing training.
18. Act as a liaison between commercial, quality, and production teams regarding product quality issues.
19. Participate in internal audits to ensure HACCP and QMS effectiveness.
20. Identify discrepancies, conduct root cause analyses, and develop corrective actions.
21. Manage validation and qualification programs, including approval of commissioning documents.
22. Develop and maintain protocols and reports.
23. Ensure compliance with certifications such as Halal, ISO, and FSSC.
24. Investigate and resolve deviations related to products.
