Job Title: Solar PV Quality Assurance Inspector
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Field-Based Solar PV Quality Assurance Inspector.
About Us:
Our client is a leading company in the energy retrofit and sustainability sector in Ireland, with over 10 years of experience managing SEAI's energy reduction programs.
Due to the expansion of SEAI's Solar Photovoltaic grant scheme, we are looking for a skilled professional to review and assess installations completed by registered Solar PV contractors on homes across Ireland, primarily in the West.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of properties post-installation to ensure compliance with SEAI's Code of Practice and Standards.
2. Documentation: Accurately complete inspection documentation, both on paper and electronically, to maintain accurate records.
3. Performance Targets: Meet targets set by scheme management, with regular performance reviews conducted to ensure high standards.
4. Technical Guidance: Provide energy advice and technical guidance to scheme applicants, colleagues, and contractors to support their understanding of Solar PV systems.
5. Homeowner Support: Manage and fulfill homeowner appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved.
6. Follow-up Activities: Handle follow-up activities, including outbound calls, paperwork, and other administrative tasks to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: FETAC Level Six qualification in a construction-related discipline/trade (Electrician/Engineering) or equivalent.
2. Solar PV Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of electrical installations, particularly Solar PV systems, and the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world situations.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows, as well as the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with homeowners, contractors, and colleagues.
5. Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
