The role of Safety Assurance Specialist is crucial in driving the transition to a low-carbon future. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring the organization's safety, health, and environment (SHE) strategy is executed effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
">
">
* Develop, deliver, and maintain the Safety Assurance Framework and processes for the Generation and Trading Business Line;
">
* Produce and deliver monthly and quarterly assurance analysis and reports to senior management teams and other internal stakeholders;
">
* Manage and support Safety Management System compliance and lessons learned sharing across the business line and central safety management;
">
* Provide direct support to the Manager, Safety Support in developing and reviewing the SHE strategy, policy frameworks, business plan, and safety improvement plan;
">
* Develop, manage, and coordinate internal and external audit programs;
">
* Manage contracts for Safety Management System certification and contractor induction system contract;
">
* Represent the business line as a subject matter expert and change control board representative for Synergi Life Support; and
">
* Lead and manage team members of the Safety Assurance team.
">
">
Requirements:
">
">
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a health, safety, or environment role;
">
* A certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience;
">
* Experience in implementing Safety Management Systems and/or auditing;
">
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills;
">
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a team member;
">
* Strong presentation skills;
">
* A diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent;
">
* Expertise in auditing and/or SMS management is highly desirable;
">
* Experience in power plant or large industrial process design, construction, maintenance, operation, overhaul, technologies, and systems would be beneficial;
">
* Auditing qualification, such as ISO 450001 Lead Auditor, is desirable.
