Machine Operative
for full time, long term work in Parkmore, Co.
Galway.
Our client is a large electronic/metal device production company, looking to add a full time staff member to their production team, working in their blast room area.
We are looking for a person who is mechanical minded, with passion for working with machines and is good at problem solving.
Process parts in accordance with the technical process sheet that corresponds to the job to which he/she is assigned.
Notify the Maintenance Technician in the event of a problem with the process equipment.
Notify the quality staff in the event of a problem with the parts that are being processed.
Fill out the areas of the traveler upon completion of each operation that he/she is working on.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensuring Line Clearance activities are ALWAYS performed
Assisting with incoming inspection (e.g. count and package damage).
Engage with Continuous Improvement activity.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
08:*******:45 (08:*******:30 on Friday)
Rate of Pay:
€*****per hour
Job requirements:
Previous experience working in med device and/or engineering/mechanical industry (min 2 years).
Good knowledge of machines, tools, etc.
Excellent attention to details and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
We are looking for candidates who are flexible to start within 2 weeks' notice.
Please note Machine Operativerole is a full time, long term position that will lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
