Overview
The Project Manager for Vision Built will act as Quality Manager for the site-based construction phases. The role involves populating the sample register, ensuring completion and agreement of samples, FOK, benchmarks, etc. The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the Contract, Preconstruction, Design Procurement, and Build functions to meet client expectations, in accordance with standard operating procedures and SISK HSEQS policy. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the PEP and seeking opportunities to add value or enhance profitability.
Responsibilities
* Prepare the programme, method statements, and submissions.
* Produce the contract programme, typically in collaboration with the Estimating Department during the bid stage.
* Ensure the Health, Safety & Environmental plan and project resources align with the project scope and programme, including temporary works.
* Instruct the QS to agree on major preliminary expenditure items, including plant and accommodation.
* Chair start-up & production meetings, working with the Regional Director to assign skilled team members.
* Lead all aspects of Project Team functions: PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out.
* Manage consultant and subcontract design, including BIM strategy delivery.
* Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan.
Experience
* Good knowledge of Design and Build JCT and NEC3 contracts, BREEAM/LEED.
* Typically 7 years’ experience in the relevant sector or delivery of 2-3 projects across different sectors.
* Holistic ‘end to end’ Programme Management experience.
* Commercial awareness, People & Performance management, Team Building & Leadership.
Qualifications
* Construction-related academic or professional qualification, ideally chartered.
* CSCS for Managers, SMSTS, CDM/PSCS.
* Awareness of BBS, Root Cause Analysis, and related workshops.
* Planning, Temporary Works, PEP, Contracts Management.
