About the Role
This Controls Engineer position is part of a team responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building automation systems (BMS/EPMS) and be able to work on complex problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine customer needs to develop project scope and specifications
* Manage scopes of work relative to site specifics and customer needs
* Develop control panel BOMs and ISA data sheets
* Prepare cable and routing plans
* Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of facility systems
* Provide technical assistance to internal customers
A Day in the Life
This role may involve deployment efforts, directing controls vendors for installation and commissioning works, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of tasks or projects.

You'll collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
Requirements:
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related engineering degrees
* Experience in BMS or EPMS controls-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Understanding of electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC
