Position
Associate Director – Finance (Cruiserath Biologics)
The role reports directly to the Finance Director for Cruiserath Biologics and leads financial stewardship and performance support for the site. It involves partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive productivity and informed decision‑making. The Associate Director is accountable for high‑quality financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, capital project tracking, controls and compliance, and audit/grant support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Drive productivity for the Cruiserath Site operations.
Collaborate with a number of stakeholders to support delivery of site financial performance.
Maintain the highest standards of stewardship and control.
Deliver high‑quality financial and management reports including monthly management accounts, budgets and projections.
Track and monitor capital projects performance, variances and trend analysis to support business planning and decision‑making.
Prepare and submit grant applications.
Prepare and review key account reconciliations.
Work closely in partnership with project controls and shared services to ensure adherence to all technical accounting policies and procedures.
Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required

Experienced qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience.
Strong financial project management skills, knowledge of product costing and development of digital platforms.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, internal controls and business partnering.
Ability to build strong partnerships, influence leadership and work in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of US GAAP principles as well as local accounting principles.
Agility to manage operating budgets, anticipate emerging issues and communicate scenario analysis.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
SAP experience is desired.
