Contracts Manager - Construction Dublin Company Overview: This company is a well-established construction subcontractor with a strong order book and a positive outlook over the next 5 to 10 years. The business is entering its next growth phase as it operates in multiple sectors but primarily in the Data Centre sector. As the company scales, the Managing Director requires a senior operational lead to take full ownership of project delivery, allowing him to focus on business development and strategic growth. The Role The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the overall operational delivery of projects across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a team of five Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to a high standard. This role suits someone who thrives in a subcontractor environment and is comfortable taking responsibility for delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Project Managers in the delivery of multiple live projects Maintain full oversight of project progress, programmes, and critical milestones Ensure project documentation and paperwork are accurate, up to date, and contractually compliant Act as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of client satisfaction Identify and support the generation of additional works and variations on existing projects Drive high standards of Health & Safety compliance across all sites Proactively resolve issues on site and within project teams as they arise Reporting key risks and opportunities to the Managing Director and participate in developing key growth strategies. Candidate Profile Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a construction subcontractor environment Strong understanding of project delivery, commercial awareness, and site operations A hands-on operator who is comfortable stepping in when projects are under pressure Confident managing multiple projects and leading Project Managers Strong communication skills with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders Practical, solution-focused, and accountable for outcomes Why This Role?
