We are seeking a talented Project Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include general office and operations tasks, managing client requirements, coordinating host families, and recruiting host companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional office environment and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication abilities.
The Project Assistant will work within a small, collaborative team and must live within commuting distance of our Cork office.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate host family arrangements for visiting trainees and teachers, including recruiting, matching, and supporting host families
Communicate and build relationships with local businesses that host our talented trainees
Maintain accurate information in the CRM system
Proactively identify opportunities based on knowledge of the local community
Anticipate and react quickly to issues as they arise
Take on additional duties as required within our collaborative small business environment
Skills & Experience
You must have:
2+ years of proven experience in an office role
Experience communicating by phone and email in an office environment
High degree of professionalism
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with office software (e.g., Google Workspace)
Experience using CRM systems (Zoho a plus)
