Job Description
The role of Strategic Workforce Lead will lead human resources for our social care services, ensuring safe, person-centred care and full compliance with Irish employment law, GDPR, and HIQA/HSE requirements.
This position requires a deep understanding of Irish employment law, HR practice, and GDPR, as well as strong employee relations expertise and sound judgment in complex cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and delivering the organisation's workforce strategy and plan aligned to service needs
* Ensuring HR policies and procedures comply with Irish employment legislation and reflect HIQA/HSE governance requirements relevant to staffing
* Oversseeing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for roles, ensuring safe recruitment and Garda Vetting compliance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A recognised third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business or related field (CIPD membership/qualification desirable)
* Minimum 5 years' HR experience with at least 3 years in a management role, ideally within health or social care
* Demonstrable experience in workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy/compliance
