Responsibilities
Promote the company and all its products and services.
Liaise with other department managers on a regular basis.
Participate in strategy meetings when required.
Recruitment – Identify need and source.
Full projects engineering team management oversight including leave, scheduling, expenses, team meetings etc.
Overall responsibility for all Projects & Quoted works, ensuring compliance with the required standards, and delivery at the budgeted margin
Sub contractor management, oversight, approval, and purchase order ownership
Drive operational efficiencies to achieve divisional goals and targets
Manage project commercials including work in hand, applications, variations, account meetings, and liaison with billing team for invoicing
Liaise with warehouse team for equipment requirements and deliveries.
KPI monitoring and management.
Develop and report monthly forecasts as required to senior management
Projects team Fleet management
Responsibility for job approvals per set criteria
Technical queries and assistance – internal and external customers.
Provide sales team assistance and leads through end user engagement.
Provide customers with quotes when necessary.
Schedule meetings with and provide advice and assistance to customers, electrical engineers, contractors and consultants to ensure standards are being met.
Liaise with the accounts department on debtors, credits, queries, etc.
Liaise with 3 rd party suppliers to enhance and improve technologies to assist the business, managing associated price books and internal system accuracy, and identify and resolve issues when they arise.
Provide technical support to engineers, service desk admin team and end users customers as necessary.
Attend product and sales training when necessary and attain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all of G4S Fire product range.
Attain comprehensive knowledge of, and keep up to date with all standards relevant to Fire industry.
Investigate and identify new opportunities and present to BDMs for development
Requirements
5+ years in a similar role
In depth fire industry standards and knowledge experience
Project delivery background
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Planning & organising skills
Results and customer focused
Ability to work to tight deadlines
