Mechanical Project Engineer
Limerick | Permanent Role
This job will suit a practical and commercially minded Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineer who can confidently manage projects from enquiry through to delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, equipment or machining engineering, strong CAD and drawing skills, and the ability to work closely with customers, production teams, and suppliers to deliver efficient, manufacturable solutions.
This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing technical quality with production and commercial realities.
Ideal role for an engineer with a strong mechanical aptitude, good engineering understanding and excellent communication skills who enjoys working closely with customers and manufacturing and design teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage customer projects from enquiry to deliveryAct as the main technical point of contact for customersLiaise with manufacturing and design teams dailyReview drawings and provide practical engineering inputSupport quotations, costing, and project planningBuild strong customer relationships and identify opportunities
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineeringStrong mechanical and problem-solving abilityExcellent communication and customer-facing skillsMotivated, ambitious, and eager to build a long-term careerAbility to interpret engineering drawingsDegree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferredSolidWorks or AutoCAD experience required
