Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Westport, Co. Mayo
Permanent Position | Salary €45,000 – €60,000 DOE
Our client is a well-established Main Contractor with a strong regional presence and a proven track record across Commercial, Healthcare and Public Sector projects. They are known for developing junior talent and offering long-term, stable careers within a supportive and well-structured commercial team.
Due to ongoing growth in the West, they are now recruiting a Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on live projects in the Westport area. This role offers hands-on exposure across all commercial functions with strong mentoring and clear progression.
Responsibilities
* Assist with cost control and budget tracking
* Support preparation of valuations and cost reports
* Measurement and take-offs
* Assist in subcontractor procurement and account management
* Support variations and change management
* Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
* 1–4 years' experience (graduate to intermediate level)
* Strong numerical and organisational skills
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a commercial team
* Good communication and teamwork skills
