Responsibilities:
* Enhance Sales and Competitive Position: Cultivate relationships with merchant sales, building contractors, builders, sub-contractors, and wholesalers to elevate sales, profits, and market standing.
* Business Expansion: Proactively identify and pursue new ventures, respond to customer inquiries, and seize market prospects.
* Client Relationship Management: Support existing clientele by securing orders, forging new connections, and scheduling client visits systematically.
* On-site Engagements: Regularly visit construction sites and merchant establishments to strengthen industry ties.
* Order Administration: Effectively oversee orders based on specifications, referencing price lists and product literature.
* Performance Targets and Metrics: Strive towards specific sales goals and key performance indicators to ensure both individual and team accomplishments.
* Market Insights: Keep abreast of competition by gathering up-to-date market data on pricing, products, and emerging trends.
* Continuous Professional Growth: Stay current with industry dynamics and product knowledge through publications, networks, professional associations, and pertinent training.
* Product and Application Enhancement: Offer valuable insights and input to improve products and applications.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of pertinent sales experience, ideally within the construction or engineering sectors.
* Proficiency in acquiring product knowledge.
* Outstanding communication abilities, capable of engaging and educating clients while effectively promoting product upgrades.
* Valid driver’s license essential for regular travel within the Munster and Connaught regions.
