Job Purpose
The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for managing revenue across multiple properties, ensuring each meets its revenue KPIs. The role develops and implements revenue management strategies for each property and works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support revenue goals through data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and effective distribution and pricing strategies.
Key Deliverables
Scope of Responsibility
* Multi-Property Management: You'll be managing revenue for multiple properties, ensuring each meets its Revenue KPIs.
* Strategy Development: Develop and implement revenue management strategies for each property.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Data Analysis
* Market Analysis: Understand market trends, demand patterns, and competitor strategies.
* Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates.
Revenue Strategies
* Pricing Strategies: Implement dynamic pricing models to optimise room rates based on demand.
* Distribution Channels: Manage online and offline distribution channels to maximize bookings.
Forecasting
* Accurate Forecasting: Use historical data and market insights to forecast demand and set revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Teamwork
* Sales and Marketing: Align revenue management strategies with sales and marketing initiatives.
* Operations: Ensure operational efficiency supports revenue goals.
Training and Development
* Team Training: Train our Reservations team on best practices and tools.
* Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and new revenue management technologies.
Revenue Management Systems (RMS)
* Systems: Leverage RMS tools to automate pricing and inventory management.
* Data-Driven Decisions: Use system-generated insights to inform your strategies.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
* Customer Insights: Use CRM data to understand customer preferences and behaviour.
* Personalized Offers: Create targeted promotions based on customer segments.
* Regular Reviews
* Performance Analysis: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess strategy effectiveness.
* Adjustments: Be prepared to adjust strategies based on performance data and market changes.
Reporting
* Clear Communication: Provide clear and concise reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Actionable Insights: Ensure reports highlight key insights and actionable recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Internal Stakeholders: Engage with property managers, owners, and other key internal stakeholders.
* External Partners: Build strong relationships with distribution partners and industry networks
Feedback Loop / Continuous Improvement
* Collect Feedback: Regularly collect feedback from your team and stakeholders.
* Implement Improvements: Use feedback to make continuous improvements in your strategies and processes.
Preferred Experience
* Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience in Revenue Management, Distribution, Reservations, or a similar commercial role within hospitality.
* Experience managing multi-property revenue performance and delivering against key KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy).
* Strong knowledge of pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and distribution channel management (direct, OTAs, GDS).
* Working knowledge of RMS, PMS, CRS, channel manager platforms, and reporting dashboards; confident using system insights to drive decisions.
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret market data, competitor trends, and performance results into clear actions.
* Confident communicator with proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
* Experience training or coaching teams (e.g., Reservations) on tools, processes, and best practices.
* Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in demand and market conditions.
