Wastewater Project Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Wastewater Project Coordinator to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering capital works across Dublin and other plants.
The coordinator will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams of civil, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers/contractors to coordinate design information and site works performed by in-house and third-party contractors.
This role requires a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and experience in designing at all levels from feasibility to 'for construction' level.
The key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating with stakeholders, including PSCS, PSDP, Client, and others
* Performing duties required for the Project Coordinator for the Construction Stage
* Site supervision and management of in-house and external contractors
* Coordinate responses to Client requests for technical information
* Production of documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documentation, project delivery plans, H&S plans
* Production of project budgets and programs
* Provide input to bids and project manage appropriate projects
Requirements include:
* Engineering degree qualification
* Fluency in English
* 3 years experience in a similar role or environment
* Experience of design at all levels from feasibility to 'for construction' level
* Considerable technical knowledge of all aspects of design impacting technical, budgetary, and programming issues
* Practical experience in coordinating site activities
* Practical Health & Safety experience in both site activities and design assessment
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage and coordinate site activities
* Ability to command respect and create a sense of community amongst project team members
* Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects
* Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects
* Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems

* Salary: €60k - €75k depending on experience
