Job Summary
Contractor Management Lead UKI - We are currently looking to hire a Contractor Management Lead UKI for the Life Sciences Manufacturing Group LSMG a global highly successful and very fast growing business unit within Cognizant. It is a permanent position reporting to LSMG Lead.
Responsibilities
Manage all key stakeholders in the process Tag Delivery IT Business systems Finance Contractors and Vendors. Responsible for the day to day management of the contractor workforce e.g. approval management onboarding extensions termination rate changes payment queries
Being a subject matter expert in legislation which affects contractors e.gIR35 off payroll working in the public sector etc and its impact on the company processes. Working closely with Recruitment Business Partners and in-house recruitment team to support permanent recruitment with interim contractor solutions.
Working closely with a payroll vendor LSMG operations PMOSS and AP finance groups to ensure an efficient and accurate monthly payment cycle. Continuous improvement of a suite of contractor documentation e.g NDA vendor contracts assignment confirmations extension documentation contractor recruitment playbook etc.
Establishment and provision of a regular suite of reports and analysis to give insight into contractor usage and identifying action plans. Relationship management and point of escalation for all contractor hiring across the UK and Ireland. Management of escalated issues through to resolution in a timely manner reflective of the demands associated with fast paced contractor hiring. Promoting the most effective use of contractors to the business to ensure optimization of market opportunity balanced against revenue and margin targets
Ensuring that Contractor timesheets/invoices/reports/systems/data are reconciled in a timely manner each month. Additional responsibilities outside of Contractor Management may include. Candidate Management Ensuring candidates have a positive experience with Cognizant and build a long term relationship with us whatever the hiring outcome. Recruitment technology Utilizing technology as an enabler to create efficiency reduce cost create engagement and provide transparency. Business Intelligence and Analytics Providing internal and external business intelligence which supports decision making

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and competencies Management of key stakeholders to ensure the Contractors are managed in line with agreed processes.
Previous experience of contractor recruitment management of contractor workforce with a clear understanding of issues and processes associated with recruitment.
A deep understanding of different recruitment technologies and how they work previous experience working with Taleo would be an advantage.
Exceptional customer service skills with experience of understanding improving and focusing on processes and activities which deliver the best experience for the customer internal and external) whilst balancing company requirements.
Evidence of demonstrating continuous improvement of customer experience.
Delivery focused with evidence of going the extra mile to achieve great outcomes. An ability to work with ambiguity and navigate change effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills with experience of using technology to track workload and actions.
Strong administration skills including an ability to understand processes where they fit within the context of what an organization does and the impact of those processes not being met or changed.
