Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in the Connaught territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across the Connaught region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grow sales with existing customers and proactively identify new business opportunities
* Build and maintain long-term relationships to maximise customer satisfaction and sales potential
* Manage route and call planning efficiently to achieve consistent sales growth and meet performance targets
* Develop a thorough understanding of our product range to provide tailored solutions and recommendations to customers
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
* Provide timely sales updates and feedback to management on performance, opportunities, and customer insights
* Handle order processing, cash collection, and other sales-related documentation accurately
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years sales experience, ideally within the food industry (butchery, artisan food, or specialist retail sectors preferred)
* A target-driven, commercially focused, and motivated approach
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities, capable of engaging effectively with business owners and managers
* Competence in using IT systems (e.g., MS Office, Excel) for reporting and order management
* A valid full driving licence
