As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
The Stockroom Assistant will be responsible for receiving of orders and ensuring all paperwork is correct, entering onto ERP system and highlighting any shortages on delivery to the Stock Controller, the Assistant will also be responsible for picking stock for issue to manufacturing / assembly floor, they will also be responsible for ensuring the stockroom & warehouse area is kept clean and tidy and well organised, This a support role critical to ensuring production efficiency and timely delivery of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Stockroom /Warehouse environment, stock control and have strong attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries on ERP system and check for discrepancies.
* Notify Stock Controller of any shortages / damages on deliveries
* Picking of stock in a timely manner for issue to manufacturing / assembly floor and advising Stock Controller of any shortages or issues
* Assist with regular stock cycle counts & checks
* Ensure the Stockroom & Warehouse area is kept clean, tidy and well organised
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stock and production areas
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Stockroom / Warehouse operations 2+ years
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Energetic, with a positive and collaborative attitude
* Familiar with inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Forklift / Pallet stacker license an advantage
