Senior Product Design Engineer - 12 month fixed term contractAbout Your New EmployerOur client is a leading company in the medical device industry, known for its innovative products and cutting-edge technology.They have a strong presence globally and are committed to improving patient outcomes through advanced medical solutions.The company offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.About Your New JobParticipate in New Product Development : As a Senior PD Engineer, you will actively engage in all areas of new product development, including design, technology advancement, automation, vendor management, and project management.Develop Best-in-Class Technologies : Utilize Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM) and 3-D drawing to create top-notch technologies, equipment, and processes for manufacturing new medical device products.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with various teams to define, execute, and deliver on New Product Development requirements.Drive Technology Process Innovation : Support teams in driving process innovation, focusing on quality improvement, technical rigor, and developing state-of-the-art automated and semi-automated systems.Support Process Development : Engage in process development, characterization, and validation activities to facilitate new product introduction.Solve Technical Problems : Apply six sigma tools, project management, and technology development skills to address technical challenges.Document and Present Learnings : Compile, document, and present findings to project and functional teams through technical reviews, design reviews, and project dashboards.Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Participate in initiatives that support the continuous improvement of the New Product Development organization.Build Relationships : Interface effectively and build relationships with team members, other staff, and key technology and component suppliers, both locally and globally.Provide Coaching : Offer guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.What Skills You NeedEducational Background : Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.Experience : Minimum of 4 years of relevant direct engineering experience within a medical device environment.Team Player : Dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams and across organizational boundaries.Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to take appropriate actions when problems occur.Medical Device Knowledge : Understanding of medical device processes, product, and process design.Communication Skills : Good communicator, fluent in English, with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.What's on OfferCompetitive Salary : €63,000 - €75,000 per annum.Professional Growth : Opportunities for training, development, and career advancement.Dynamic Work Environment : Work in a collaborative and innovative setting with a focus on cutting-edge technology.What's NextApply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button or call me, Ross Keyes, on If the job isn't quite right but you are looking for something similar, please get in touch.
