About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive our strategic growth agenda in high-growth sectors.
This role will involve driving streamlined account management practices, effective sales and go-to-market processes, pipeline management, revenue tracking and reporting.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with sector heads, identifying major growth opportunities and developing strategies to target them.
Key areas of focus include Relationship Management, Account Management, Account Based Marketing, Opportunity Management, Sales Management, Revenue/Pipeline and Reporting Management.
This is a pivotal role that will support the growth of our business by providing strategic inputs into significant pursuits and maintaining a good knowledge of the sector ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Sector and their leadership team in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy across key accounts and sectors.
* Drive best practice Account Management for priority Accounts.
* Drive cross-selling and upselling across key accounts.
* Account based Marketing.
* Relationship mapping and CRM Management.
* Support in the identification and conversion of must-win opportunities.
* Track and report on account and sector performance.
* Execute focused action on cross-sector themes.
* Maintain a good knowledge of the sector ecosystem within KPMG.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience gained in industry or professional services, working in a senior Business Development/Commercial role.
* Strong commercial acumen, growth orientation and sales focus.
* Comfortable in using pipeline and CRM systems for revenue tracking and reporting.
* Excellent relationship development and networking ability.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to positively drive change and influence the decision-making process.
* Excellent organisational skills and project management ability.
