 
        Category/Sourcing Manager - Network Infrastructure & PowerAs a Category/Sourcing Expert you will be responsible for handling end to end sourcing operations within the ancillary products (cell site racks & cable management, tools & tool repair, etc.) within this sourcing team. You will analyse & improve sourcing by looking a the company's spending, building supplier partnerships & identifying new savings opportunitiesResponsibilitiesManage the company's passive product suppliers & ensure supplier contracts are managed & maintained on ARIBA.Generate & implement category management sourcing strategies with business partners & with category intelligence team.Analyse & calculate annual spend & annual cost savings opportunities.Prepare & agree supplier negotiation strategies.Conduct contract negotiations with supplier & appropriate teams, & secure profitable deals.Lead RFX projects for product tenders & collaborate with team stakeholders.Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency – question the day to day activities that can deliver further improvements.Build & foster US team relationships with business stakeholders & with your peers.Perform cost & scenario analysis, as well as pricing benchmarking.Identify supply risks & apply risk minimizing techniques in line with corporate policies.Discover & partner with trustworthy suppliers.Ability to execute projects from beginning to end with emphasis on attention to detail. Item pricing & item data management is an essential function within this role.Experience in summarising & presenting scope of work & supplier selection solutions to internal clients.Skills & Competencies6+ years of sourcing experience preferable in the electronic manufacturing industry or the telecommunications industry.Proven track record as a sourcing expert – be able to demonstrate activities & resultsUnderstanding of market dynamics & sound business judgmentOperate with internal & external stakeholders in a matrix environmentStrong Presentation skills. Be able to present to senior management.Contracting experience – drafting, negotiating & executionDemonstrate creative thinking – solving problems by thinking outside of the box.Strong project management & leadership skills – be able to interface with global colleagues & be able to meet target dates/milestone task timeframes.Can build & sustain positive networking relationshipsComfortable with figures & analysing/interpreting data.
