Windmill Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experiencedClinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1)to join our Management Team atKilleline Care Centre, Newcastle West, Co Limerick.Reporting to theDirector of Nursing / Person in Charge, and working alongside another CNM, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate nurse leader to contribute to the ongoing development of our care team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, guiding, and inspiring a team of Clinical Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants-ensuring the highest standards of care and quality of life for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and deputise for the Director of Nursing / Person in Charge in their absence, assuming responsibilities in line with the Health Act 2007, associated regulations, and HIQA standards.Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, infection prevention, and food safety across the Care Centre.Participate in clinical management and provide hands-on nursing care, ensuring effective communication with residents, families, and staff.Lead and coordinate the quality and safety systems, including clinical risk management and resident engagement initiatives.Manage and support staff through coaching, supervision, and regular performance appraisals.Assist in staff rostering, recruitment, and management in collaboration with the senior management team.Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous learning.Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and best practices within Killeline Care Centre.Candidate RequirementsActive NMBI RegistrationPrevious experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager within a Nursing Home environmentPost-registration management qualificationA qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia Care is highly desirableStrong understanding of HIQA standards, regulations, and governance in a residential care settingExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsProven ability to manage workload effectively and adapt to changing prioritiesCommitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and quality resident careWhat We OfferComprehensive induction and ongoing in-house training with career development opportunitiesFree on-site parkingSubsidised mealsEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Cycle-to-Work schemeJoin a team that values compassion, professionalism, and excellence in care.Be part of our story - Apply Today
