Support Worker Role
We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to young people in a residential service. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care and promoting independence.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing daily care and support to young people, including assistance with personal care and activities of daily living
* Developing and maintaining relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care
* Participating in the development and implementation of individualised care plans that promote independence and self-advocacy
* Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant area
* Clear understanding of person-centred care and keyworking
* Understanding and experience of risk assessments and safeguarding of young people in care
* Working knowledge of HIQA policies and procedures
* Working knowledge of Children's First guidelines and procedures
* A full clean manual driving license
