Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to non-conforming materials, customer complaints, and incapable processes.
* Evaluate and correct non-conforming products and processes in accordance with process controls and production procedures.
* Support the development of cell layouts, material flow, handling systems, and overall production plans to enable effective lean and synchronous manufacturing.
* Participate in plant-wide Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) and Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with R&D and NPI teams during early product development to ensure manufacturing input into new cell layouts and production readiness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Polymer, Science, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Or 5+ years' experience in a Process Assembly Technician role in a medical device environment.
* Cleanroom manufacture, validations, process controls, process improvements, and lean manufacturing.
* Lean Systems Green Belt (LSGB) certification desirable.
* Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification desirable.
