Business Project Manager – Daily Rate Contract (Galway)

We’re partnering with a leading global organisation based in Galway, currently seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an onsite role (5 days per week) offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
About the Role
As the Business Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the successful delivery of high-impact programs within the client’s operations. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Tax, and Regulatory Affairs — ensuring strategic initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate end-to-end project execution, aligning deliverables with global operational objectives.
* Partner with IT Project Managers and external vendors to deliver project milestones and business outcomes.
* Oversee project launches, ensuring readiness across development, testing, and production environments.
* Develop project charters, consolidate milestones, and manage interdependencies to build integrated roadmaps.
* Establish strong governance structures to support decision-making, risk management, and accountability.
* Provide clear communication and regular updates to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively to maintain momentum.
* Thrive in a fast-moving environment, balancing multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
About You
* Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder business or operational projects.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative and resilient approach.
* Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.
* Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or Jira.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results in compliance-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management.
* Experience in medical device or healthcare environments and understanding of Quality Management Systems.
* Familiarity with systems such as Oracle Materials Management, WMS/TMS, Voice Technology, or SharePoint
