The analyst will work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Accounting, Human Resources and Payroll to collect, analyze, prepare and pay worldwide sales commission and other variable compensation. The candidates should be detail oriented and have excellent organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a team environment. Depending on the candidate's experience, this role may be open at a Senior Commissions Analyst level.As a Commissions Analyst you will:Liaison to Sales Operations, Accounting, Human Resources and Payroll for all sales variable compensation related activitiesSupport the full cycle compensation process for sales commission and other variable compensation, including documentation, calculation of monthly payout and approval workflowValidate sales data integrated from for accuracy and consistency with the guidelines as defined in the compensation plan terms and conditionsPrepare commission statements for the worldwide sales organizationPrepare month end variable compensation accounting accrual journal entriesPrepare account reconciliations including those for prepaid and held commissions balancesPrepare reconciliations for amortization schedules per the company policies on ASC 606/340 accounting treatmentModel various earned commission scenarios due to complex license agreement termsInteract, research and investigate discrepancies with the sales organization to address inquiries regarding bookings and commissionsProvide support for inquiries from internal and external auditorsParticipate in annual sales incentive plan design, implementation, and testingEnsure Xactly runs smoothly and troubleshoot errors with configuration or reference dataRecommend process improvements and assist with design and implementation of internal controlsOther duties as required to contribute to the department/company accomplishing its major objectivesWe're excited about you if you have :Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field.2+ years of progressive commission administration and analysisStrong analytical skills with advanced computer skills (emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Google sheets) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly.Prior experience with sales compensation management tools like Xactly requiredFamiliarity with Salesforce and Netsuite a plusExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions without specific step-by-step instructionsHighly organized and motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects while delivering results in a timely mannerAbility to build effective partnerships across teamsSkilled at working as a contributing team member and individually on set projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read, analyze and interpret business documentsThis role does not provide immigration sponsorship.What you can expect from us:Generous PTO PolicySupport work life balance with Unplugged DaysFlexible WFH PolicyMental & Physical Wellness programsPhone and Internet Reimbursement programAccess to Continued Career DevelopmentComprehensive Benefits and Competitive PackagesPaid Volunteer TimeEmployee Resource GroupsEEO/VEVRAA
