We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in compliance with health regulations.
* Lead by example, providing guidance and support to team members while encouraging professional development.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Innovate new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others.
* Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
