Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled financial reporting accountant to join our multinational organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating the financial reporting requirements of our division, working closely with auditors and focusing on internal and external reporting.
The successful candidate will have a mix of analytical and forecasting skills, with experience in preparing financial statements, reconciling balance sheets, and consolidating financial reports. They will also be proficient in budget preparation and forecasting, producing statutory accounts, and managing stakeholder communication.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly management accounts
* Reconcile balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Prepare consolidated financial reports that meet regulatory requirements
* Develop and manage budgets, as well as forecast future financial performance
* Produce statutory accounts that comply with relevant laws and regulations
* Manage and coordinate audit processes to ensure seamless execution
This is a hybrid role, with 50% of work completed in-office and 50% remotely. You will work collaboratively with our team to meet reporting deadlines and achieve business objectives.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has advanced Excel skills and can implement process improvements. Excellent stakeholder communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
