Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate construction activities and site workers to ensure project deadlines are met.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage resources including materials, equipment, and workforce efficiently to optimize project performance.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow.
Inspect work progress and quality regularly to uphold construction standards and specifications.
Prepare daily reports on site activities, progress, and issues for senior management.
Resolve onsite conflicts and troubleshoot problems promptly to avoid project delays.
Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and legal requirements throughout the construction process.
Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills to guide diverse construction crews.
In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
Effective communication and organisational skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
Relevant construction certifications or qualifications, such as CSCS or equivalent.
Flexibility to work on different sites across Ireland and adapt to changing project demands.
