Location:Drogheda, IrelandAbout SATIR Europe:SATIR Europe is a leading manufacturer of thermal imaging cameras, providing innovative infrared solutions for industrial, electrical, and environmental applications.Our team is dedicated to advancing thermal technology through precision engineering, quality manufacturing, and customer-focused service.Role Overview:We are seeking a Production Assistant to the Chief Engineer to support the development, repair, and production of our thermal imaging cameras.This role is ideal for an organised and technically minded individual who can work hands-on while assisting in managing production activities.The successful candidate will help ensure smooth workflow in our production area and may also take on leadership responsibilities when directing other colleagues.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Chief Engineer in coordinating and executing daily production.Support camera maintenance processes.Assist with packing and preparing customer orders to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch.Maintain production documentation and assist with process improvements.Communicate effectively with engineering, warehouse, and other teams.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field .Experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical repair environment preferred.Knowledge and understanding of ISO quality management systems and compliance procedures is preferable.Ability to lead and coordinate a small team when required.Hands-on technical aptitude with attention to detail.Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese and English (spoken and written) is preferable.Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic production management tools.
