The Role of a Mechanical Construction Lead

Our company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Lead to join our team. This key position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and successful completion of mechanical construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

* Detailed review and liaison with design and client workgroup leads model reviews;
">
* Preparation of detailed SOWs for trade contract procurement;
">
* Assistance in preparation of detailed BOQs;
">
* Leadership of constructability reviews;
">
* Review of returned Mechanical bids and preparation of TBA;
">
* Trade and industry knowledge reviews, keeping abreast of developments in the construction industry;
">
* Development of detailed execution strategies;
">
* Input into CHSP, QA/TO and all other General Construction Requirement documentation;
">
* Assistance in schedule development, schedule reviews, and leadership of IAPs;
">
* Liaison with the Mechanical Design department leads, improving execution procedures, and managing and developing Mechanical construction resources across the project.
">
">
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure that the construction phase of projects is adequately provided with suitable personnel, plant, tools, temporary facilities, and other resources. Management of subcontractors, including safety, schedule, cost, and quality, will also be a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, significant years of experience in a similar role, biotech/pharma knowledge, excellent communication skills, and excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge.
