The role of a General Assistant is an integral part of ensuring the smooth operation and high standards of cleanliness in our nursing home. This position requires an individual to contribute to efficient home management, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, family visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain daily and weekly routines, adhering to set protocols for cleaning all areas of the Home.
* Prioritize tasks as directed by the Home Manager/Person in Charge, ensuring timely completion within given deadlines.
* Cleanliness is paramount; responsibilities include laundry duties, preparing meals while following strict hygiene practices and safety regulations as per COSHH Regulations
* Maintain good manner with residents and their families; preserve confidentiality at all times as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure while meeting legislative requirements for health safety HACCP across all facilities.
