Job Description
Based out of our permanent Manufacturing Facility in Co. Carlow, and due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a Mechanical bias to join and play a pivotal role within our in-house multidiscipline design team. Jones Engineering Manufacturing Ltd. is a provider of bespoke modular solutions (packaged plant rooms, skids and conveyances) to the Life Sciences, Data Centre and Energy industries.
Skills/ Requirements
Relevant third level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
Experience working within the modular build sector would be advantageous.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment.
Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential.
Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
Excellent Analytical & IT Skills essential.
Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.
Experience in management of suppliers and sub-contractors.
Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential.
Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
Facility to gain chartership status available in-house.
