Senior Quantity Surveyor
About the role:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in integrating commercial strategy and fostering collaboration with team members to drive informed decision-making in the construction process. Key responsibilities include administering and representing the company in commercial and contractual matters, encompassing tender preparation, financial management, and value engineering.

* Strong understanding of commercial strategy and its application in the construction process.
* Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
* Proficient in administering commercial and contractual matters, including tender preparation and financial management.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prepare and present forecasts, targets, and CV reconciliations.
* Skilled in preparing and agreeing valuations, including generating certificates and payments.
* Adept at updating projected Final Accounts and preparing submissions.
* Knowledgeable about maintaining and protecting JSS commercial and contractual entitlements.
* Ability to monitor and control site records and administer document control.
* Experience in managing insurance and warranties.
* Familiarity with reviewing and updating project risk/opportunity plans.
* Capacity to manage risk arising from procurement and opportunity.
* Expertise in maintaining an independent view in commercial reporting following the Valuation Policy.
* Able to manage and oversee junior commercial staff.
