About the role
We're hiring a proactive coordinator to own all large-party bookings across our venues — think corporate events, private dining, partial/whole-area buyouts, birthdays, stags/hens, seasonal parties. This role does not manage day-to-day small table reservations; instead, you'll focus on big bookings and growing total booking revenue.
What you'll do
* Be the single point of contact for group enquiries (8+ guests, private areas, buyouts) via email, phone, and web forms
* Qualify leads, craft proposals (menus, set packages, drinks, AV/entertainment), and negotiate minimum spends, deposits, and T&Cs
* Build and manage a pipeline: fast follow-ups, clear timelines, and conversion to confirmed events
* Coordinate with venue managers/chefs/FOH on floor plans, seating, pre-orders, and BEOs; ensure smooth handover to ops and attend key events when needed
* Keep an up-to-date calendar of group inventory, peak dates, and blackout periods across venues
* Drive growth: run outbound outreach (local offices, hotels/concierges, community groups), launch seasonal packages (e.g., Christmas, graduation), test weekday activations and upsell add-ons
* Track KPIs and report weekly (leads, conversion rate, avg party size, revenue per booking, lead time)
What you'll need
* 1–2+ years in group bookings / events / venue sales (hospitality preferred)
* Excellent written & spoken English; confident, friendly communicator
* Negotiation skills with a commercial mindset; comfortable securing deposits & minimum spends
* Strong organisation; able to juggle multiple proposals and deadlines
* Good with tools: booking systems & spreadsheets (training provided), basic docs/slides
Nice to have
* Experience with OpenTable
* CRM familiarity (e.g., HubSpot)
What we offer
* Competitive base compensation + performance bonus tied to booking revenue
* Staff meals, employee discounts, supportive team and clear playbooks
