We are presently recruiting for a Credit Underwriter for our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. Working as part of a wider team, you will evaluate and analyze credit applications to determine a borrower’s creditworthiness. You will have strong IT skills and will be the first point of contact for all client inquiries and loan applications. This is a full-time position, based in office in Killarney, County Kerry.
Responsibilities:
* Assess loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine borrower risk.
* Analyze income, debt, and financial data to evaluate creditworthiness.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Identify potential risks associated with lending to an individual or business.
* Collaborate with loan officers and clients to verify financial information.
* Recommend loan approvals, modifications, or rejections based on risk assessment.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare credit reports for decision-making.
Qualifications and experiences:
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar position (either administration, accounts, banking)
* Qualification in either Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
* Proficiency in Excel and other software
This is a permanent position, based in office in Killarney, County Kerry.
